Keely Taylor discussing her prize with Glasswells Staff

Glasswells helps local prize-winner to get her book collection in order

Keely Taylor (right) meets with Debbie Cram (left) and Robert Hawkins, sales director of Glasswells, to discuss how she plans to spend the £500 gift voucher she won at the recent ISSBA (Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association) Suffolk Business Exhibition.

In addition to £500 to spend on home furnishings at Glasswells, Keely also won a home design consultancy visit with interior designer, Debbie.

“It’s likely to be more storage of some kind for my home,” Keely said. “I have a huge collection of books and there’s never enough space for them. Debbie will definitely have her work cut out!

Glasswells, East Anglia’s largest independent home furnishing retailer, was a major sponsor of the business networking event for the first time in 2008.

“We took the opportunity at the exhibition to tell visitors about the new 73,000 sq.ft. showroom that we’re opening on Orwell Retail Park in Ipswich later this year,” explained Robert. “There was a lot of interest and that reinforces our view that Glasswells in the Ipswich town centre will be as popular as our Bury St Edmunds store and will supplement our existing, but much smaller, showroom at Martlesham Heath.”

Keely Taylor, a member of ISSBA who lives in Stowmarket, runs Keely Taylor Secretarial Services.

The ISSBA exhibition took place at Trinity Park at the end of April.
